CARE and Counseling Services are unable to provide walk-in or crisis services. In the event of a life-threatening emergency please call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency department. If you need immediate mental health support, call or text 988.
If you're an Aims student, you may be eligible to receive free short-term confidential counseling sessions with a licensed therapist through Aims Community College.
We encourage you to contact the counselor on your campus to set up an appointment if you’re struggling with any of the following:

A reporting party (Aims faculty member, employee or student) may fill out a CARE report/referral form when they need to inform the campus community of a concern or an incident. Please note, the form is not intended for emergencies. If it is an emergency call Campus Security at 970-539-2171 or dial 911.
An emergency is a situation that is life-threatening or involves immediate danger or other extreme circumstances. If you or someone else has an emergency, please call 911 immediately or Campus Security at (970) 539-2171.
