If you're a first-year student, AAA 1001/AIMS 101 is designed to set you up for success in college. You'll access valuable resources and gain life lessons while establishing your Aims community.
This course meets twice a week for just 5 weeks. You'll gain great benefits for just 20 hours or less of your time - no textbooks required. Upon completion, you may qualify to earn a 3-credit tuition waiver.
AAA 1001 and AIMS 101 are the same class with different benefits:
Increase your on-campus support community by making meaningful and long-lasting connections with your peers and Aims faculty/staff.
Learn about on and off-campus resources designed to support your transition to college life and ways to get involved on campus.
Develop and strengthen your personal management skills, including time-management, prioritization, financial literacy, motivation, grit and self care.
Develop and strengthen your academic success habits, including personalized note-taking, active reading strategies, studying and test taking.
