Trent earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Philosophy in 2005 and a Master's Degree in Public Administration in 2008, both from Southeast Missouri State University. Since that time he has taught at multiple institutions ranging from the community college to university level.
Trent came to AIMS in 2015 and works primarily at the Early College Academy. In 2016 he won Dean's Selection for Faculty of the Year. He has served the community as the Chairperson of the Citizens Budget Advisory Committee, and as a member of the Capital Improvement Plan Committee. His political experience includes being the lead consultant for a U.S. House campaign and a strategist for a Presidential campaign. He lives in Greeley with his wife, daughter and cat, and spends his free time gardening and gaming.
