College for Kids Summer Program Returns for 44th Year with Exciting New Offerings

College for Kids returns, offering an engaging mix of new and returning classes designed to spark curiosity and creativity. With hands-on courses in game design, entrepreneurship, fitness, and more, young learners can explore unique opportunities not typically found in traditional classrooms. Registration opens at 8 a.m. on Monday, March 24.
Aims Community College Receives Grant to Develop a Z-Degree, Expands Open Educational Materials

Aims Community College received a $71,198 grant to expand free course materials and develop a zero-textbook-cost degree. Since 2018, OER initiatives have saved students $2.5 million, reducing financial barriers and increasing access to education. Faculty are redesigning courses to enhance affordability, flexibility, and student success.
