Professional Background

Joanne San Nicolas has been teaching at Aims since 2006. Prior to that time, she worked as a university administrator in San Diego, CA, where she specialized in work with adult students pursuing their undergraduate and graduate degrees. She is a tireless promoter of the College Board’s CLEP program as a means of earning college credit for motivated students, after having tested sufficiently herself to earn credit for a year’s worth of general education college courses.

Personal Interests

Joanne is an avid reader and borrows an ambitious number of books from the library that she attempts to finish. She loves to travel. Having traveled extensively throughout the United States, she is now slowly making her way around the European continent. Here in Greeley, you can often find her running or walking the trails accompanied by her dogs. She enjoys dining out with her husband and two daughters.
