Professional Background

Over five decades across three states, I have been a journalist, public relations director, lobbyist, fundraiser, business consultant and college instructor. My current CTE classes focus on leadership and professionalism, corporate responsibility, strategic communication, and ethical challenges facing public and private enterprise.  A communicator and educator all my life, I write a monthly business column in the local press and maintain an ongoing commitment to professional development.

Personal Interests

At Aims, I am grateful to have mentored novice faculty, contributed to  shared governance and “assessed” student learning through evolving protocols. In the community I support economic growth and quality of life projects through the Greeley Area Chamber of Commerce and my church. Married with three adult children and five grandchildren, I enjoy limited proficiency in hiking, gardening and golfing.
