Aims Expands College for Kids Program

Aims Community College is hosting its annual College for Kids program in June at its Greeley, Loveland and Fort Lupton locations.

New this year is the addition of classes at the Fort Lupton Campus. There is space still available in the Fort Lupton and Greeley programs. Visit www.aims.edu/programs/college-kids to sign your nine to 12-year old child up today for the four-day program.

College for Kids provides a summer of education and fun for students ages nine to 12. Students take two classes each day and are provided with a lunch during the four-day program. Class topics include robotics, television production, theatre, dance, poetry and more. Dates and locations for the program are as follows:

  • June 11-14: Aims Greeley Campus, 5401 W 20th Street - Greeley
  • June 18-21 (classes are full): Loveland, Bill Reed Middle School, 370 W 4th Street – Loveland
  • June 25-28: Aims Fort Lupton Campus, 260 College Avenue, Fort Lupton

In addition to expanding the program to the Fort Lupton campus, Aims started the C4K Leaders program. This program will allow 13 and 14 year-olds to participate in College for Kids with leadership roles during class. The cost for College for Kids is $75 for the Greeley program or $25 for the Loveland and Fort Lupton programs. The cost includes a morning class, an afternoon class and lunch during the entire four-day program that is held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For an additional $25 there is an early drop-off and late pick-up option that allows for students to be dropped off as early as 7:30 a.m. and picked up as late as 5:30 p.m.
