Aims Community College partnered with Loveland Youth Gardeners during the 2021-2022 academic year. This project became a win for all involved. It cultivated a community partnership, provided much-needed features for a community garden and created a unique learning experience for Aims students.

Aims Community College’s recently redesigned website won an Award of Excellence at the 28th Annual Communicator Awards in the General-School/University category. The Award of Excellence, their highest honor, is given to those entrants whose ability to communicate positions them as the best in the field. The Communicator Awards recognizes excellence, effectiveness, and innovation across all areas of communication.
Aims Community College was recently named a Hunger Free Campus by the Colorado Department of Higher Education (CDHE). The Hunger Free Campus designation provides statewide recognition for institutions that demonstrate a collective effort across students, staff, faculty and community to raise awareness and assistance for student food insecurity.
Aims Community College is offering a free summer science and technology camp for Greeley-Evans Weld County School District 6 high school students, July 18-21. The camp focuses on science, technology, and innovation-based activities. Students compete in teams to take part in 3D printing, programming, electronics and robot design, games, and other exercises to help them learn about technology and how it can help industry.
