Allied Health Professional Program Admission Requirements

How to Apply to the Aims Allied Health Professional Degree Program

  1. Download, print, and complete the Aims Healthcare Program Entrance Requirements Checklist.
  2. Please view the Allied Health Professional Degree Informational PowerPoint.
  3. Apply to become an Aims student at https://www.aims.edu/admissions/apply. After you have received your Aims email and Aims ID, please email or call Stephany Wood at stephany.wood@aims.edu or call (970) 378-3596 to get placed on the waitlist.
  4. Be able to pass a background check and drug screen without any disqualifiers. Although marijuana is legal in Colorado, it is not legal when working with patients. Download, print, read and sign this list of disqualifying offenses.
  5. Verify that you have a current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider CPR Certificate.

Important Challenge Exam Information for HPR 1040 - Comprehensive Medical Terminology

For medical clinical assistant or medical front office certificate students, a proficiency exam is required before registering for HPR 1040, Comprehensive Medical Terminology.
