Aims Community College is committed to transparency and accountability, and makes public records available by request in accordance with the Colorado Open Records Act (CORA). All requests and responses to requests should follow the College’s Open Records procedure. To request information, complete Aims Community College’s Public Records Request Form.
If you are a military recruiter requesting information under the Solomon Amendment, please contact records@aims.edu.
All requests must reasonably specify the record or records desired in writing on the request form. General searches of College files for unspecified documents are not permitted.
If the records are available pursuant to law, the records will be made available for viewing within three working days. If extenuating circumstances exist so that the Custodian cannot gather the records within three working days, the period will be extended an additional seven working days.
Copies of documents cost $.25 per page, or actual cost if higher. Additionally, if research and retrieval of the public records will exceed one hour, the College may charge a reasonable research and retrieval fee, of $30.00 per hour. All payments for public records must be received in advance of releasing the requested records. Copies of records will be released only after payment is received.
