As the Instructional Coach at Aims, I approach education with an open mind and open heart. I value differentiated learner-centered instruction and see the importance of the collaborative process of coaching. I encourage faculty to take a student-centered approach to their teaching and provide unbiased support in order to empower active learning, equitable access, and a genuine experience for their students. Educators who work with me will meet a confidant ally who respects, listens, values, and validates their experiences. I receive educators where they are, listen to their needs, solicit advice when requested, provide resources when needed, collect and analyze data, and share in the experience of educating all students. When working with me, faculty will know that my focus is on their success and enhanced experience that will translate to their students in and beyond the classroom.
