Professional Background
Bridget moved to Colorado to complete her doctorate at Colorado State University in microbiology, with a specific focus on the bacterial microbiome, probiotics and mucosal vaccination. Toward the end of her doctorate, she knew she wanted to stay in Colorado and academia, and accepted a chemistry lab coordinator position at Front Range Community College. She thoroughly enjoyed being a lab coordinator, but wanted to assist with more than just chemistry labs. Her position at Aims is a perfect mix of all types of science classes.
Personal Interests
In her spare time, Bridget enjoys running, camping, and snowboarding. She grew up in Minnesota, and travels back every summer to canoe and camp in the Boundary Waters. She also spends lots of time attempting to keep her dog Freddie entertained.
