Brittny Wilson

Instructor, Nonprofit Leadership Academy

Brittny Wilson is a seasoned leader with over two decades of experience driving impact in the nonprofit sector. During her last two in-house positions as Vice President of Development & Marketing at YWCA Boulder County and Attention Homes, she provided strategic direction to achieve revenue growth and community engagement. Through her consultancy, Brittny Wilson Consulting, she supports organizations in building successful fundraising programs and recruiting top talent. Whether it's identifying the best candidates, creating a seamless hiring process, or working with organizations to recognize exactly what they need for the position, Brittny walks them through the process ensuring transparency and follow-through. Brittny is committed to empowering organizations and driving social change.

Brittny hails from the great state of O-H-I-O (go Buckeyes!). She graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a bachelor's degree in French and Sociology and holds a master's degree in religious studies from Naropa University, none of which taught her how to fundraise.  It has taken two decades of making mistakes and learning from them that taught her how to effectively raise money and thrive in the nonprofit sector. She is also a graduate of the Institute for Leaders in Development at the University of Denver. When she’s not griping about #nonprofitlife on her former podcast, The Nonprofit Reframe, or helping those navigate it, Brittny likes to spend her free time with her family camping, indulging in all things Americana, and exploring as many national parks as possible
