Professional Background

Margaret practiced small animal medicine for about 8 years in and around the greater Denver area. Because of this background, she has experience with many levels of medical procedures.

In 2004 she began teaching for Colorado Community Colleges Online, with a couple of Anatomy and Physiology courses. She began teaching in-person classes at Front Range Community College and Red Rocks Community College in 2007. She joined the Aims Community College teaching roster in 2019. Over the years she has managed to teach a fairly wide variety of biology courses for the different colleges. 

Personal Interests

Margaret has an interest in helping students learn by using practical and relatable examples. She likes to ask her students lots of questions and help them find the answers. She likes to hear students interacting and sharing their experiences.

One of her favorite areas to study is microscopic anatomy, and she is passionate about sharing it with others.
