Professional Background
Shaer’s academic background is in anaerobic marine research, which focuses on isolation and physiological characterization of bacteria in extreme marine environments. My greatest accomplishments during my microbiology career stem from teaching students to be competent in the natural sciences.
Personal Interests
Shaer is an avid reader of all types of prose and enjoys video games. He also loves to explore the beautiful landscape of Colorado with our two dogs. On the weekends he can be found watching his favorite soccer team Liverpool Football club and singing You’ll Never Walk Alone loudly.
