Sosamma Samuel-Burnett is Founder & President of G.L.O.B.A.L. Justice, a Loveland based international nonprofit. She has developed the Fundamentals of Nonprofit Management course for Aims Community College's Nonprofit Leadership Academy. She is teaching this foundational course in person during Spring 2024 and remotely Spring 2025.
Sosamma brings her experiences of nearly 40 years of nonprofit organizations, nearly 30 years of human right advocacy, and nearly 20 years as a university professor to this course. Sosamma has served as a director, board member, or advisor to many advocacy, education, and policy organizations in California, Colorado, Minnesota, Missouri and Washington, D.C. She is a writer and speaker in many contexts locally, nationally and internationally. Sosamma has been recognized for her work by various organizations, most recently as the BizWest 2023 Woman of Distinction (Nonprofits).
Sosamma earned her Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service in Washington, D.C. and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota Law School in Minneapolis, Minn.
