Professional Background
I have worked in the medical field since 2004. In 2008, I founded Accelerated Billing Company, where we quickly became a trusted partner for government, commercial, auto and workers’ compensation insurance billing. During that time, I also became the office manager of the Student Health Center at the University of Northern Colorado—a position I continue to hold. My passion for the college environment led me to teach at IBMC College from 2009 to 2021, where I instructed all of the medical billing and coding classes, some of the front office procedures, medical terminology, and medical law and ethics, among other courses.
Personal Interests
My favorite activities revolve around my large, close-knit family. My husband and I have raised seven children, all of whom have grown into successful adults with families of their own—we now have 12 wonderful grandchildren, with number 13 on the way. I’m also a dog lover; I currently cherish breeds like French Bulldogs, English Bulldogs, Labrador Retrievers, and German Shepherds. We’ve always been actively involved in our children’s sports, which eventually sparked our passion for women’s wrestling—a sport that has played a significant role in our lives. I also enjoy NASCAR (cheering on Kyle Larson, #5) as a proud member of the Mustang Club, and am a dedicated Denver Broncos fan. Our diverse interests keep us eager to try new outdoor adventures and embrace every opportunity for family fun.
