Aims Student Art Show: A Celebration of Creativity and Identity

On April 11, the Aims Loveland Campus came alive as guests gathered for the opening reception. The exhibit showcases an extraordinary range of artwork from student artists who explore everything from the deeply personal to the fantastically surreal, with pieces spanning a wide array of media, including painting, photography, sculpture, digital media, and more. The show is a vibrant reflection of the Aims community's diverse voices, talents and perspectives.
Awards went out to artists in six categories. The show was juried by professional artists from the Aims Visual and Performing Arts Department, Artworks Loveland, the Loveland Creative District and the Lincoln Gallery-Thompson Valley Art League. The winning pieces included:
- Best in Show | Hannah Janssen for And the Moon Said Reflect
- Best Use of Color | Addison Kapaun for Dreamscape Iguana and Eternal Huntress
- Best in Concept | Kevin Ailon for A Nation Built by Many
- Best in Craftsmanship | Pepper Feldman for Clint
- Most Creative | Alicia Wolfe for Femininity Reclaimed
- People's Choice Award | Emma Young for Fins
