Some families build a legacy of hard work and service that continues through generations. For Carl Alm's family, that legacy began with his grandfather who bought their family farm east of Eaton in 1941, just a few months before Pearl Harbor was bombed.
Raised on a small ranch in western Nebraska where she was active in 4-H raising and exhibiting sheep, dairy goats, and cattle, Amy McFarland has been involved in agriculture since she was very young.
Presented annually by the Aims Community College Board of Trustees, the award honors a community member’s extraordinary commitment and contributions to the mission and goals of Aims Community College.
