  • Public Safety Specialist III

    Join a team of public safety professionals dedicated to safety at Aims Community College. The Public Safety Specialist III is a professional, armed, non-sworn position responsible for ensuring the safety and security of Aims Community College campuses, including students, employees, and visitors. While this position does not have law enforcement authority, you will play a critical role in enforcing college policies, responding to safety concerns and assisting in emergencies.

    Aims is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to advance the College's cybersecurity posture through innovative solutions and effective risk management. A key aspect of this role involves automating cybersecurity operations and user lifecycle management processes, such as provisioning, access control and de-provisioning. This position involves cross-functional collaboration, developing technical solutions and optimizing existing cybersecurity infrastructure to support the College's mission securely and efficiently.

Aims employees, spouses and dependents can receive $4,000 in tuition reimbursement for classes at Aims after the first year of employment. Tuition from other accredited institutions is also reimbursed after the first year.

Aims full-time employees receive ample paid time off, including: 17 holidays, 12 days of sick leave, 15 days of annual leave, 24 hours of personal leave, and 30 hours of volunteer time per year. During the summer, enjoy 12 Fridays off where you can work 36 hours per week while being paid for 40.

Save for your future retirement with a PERA Defined Benefit Plan. Aims employees contribute monthly to this PERA plan, earning interest until retirement. Once retirement eligible, individuals can receive monthly payments for life.
