My Next Move is an interactive tool for job seekers and students to learn more about their career options. My Next Move has tasks, skills, salary information, and more for over 900 different careers. Users can find careers through keyword search; by browsing industries that employ different types of workers; or through the O*NET Interest Profiler, a tool that offers personalized career suggestions based on a person's interests and level of work experience.
My Next Move is developed and maintained by the National Center for O*NET Development, under the sponsorship of the US Department of Labor/Employment and Training Administration (USDOL/ETA) through a grant to the North Carolina Department of Commerce.

After year one, students will have the opportunity to earn their FAA Part 107 Certification by taking and passing the FAA exam. In order to fly your drone under the FAA's Small UAS Rule (Part 107), you must obtain a Remote Pilot Certificate from the FAA. This certificate demonstrates that you understand the regulations, operating requirements and procedures for safely flying drones.
For year two, students must choose a preferred pathway (UAS Pathway, Pilot Pathway, or Air Traffic Control Pathway) and complete the aviation application. In this year, students will be enrolled in class(es) with other non-Career Academy students.

Additional Info | Students will need to complete the Aviation Application. Students will have the opportunity to earn their UAS Basic Operator Academic Certificate. | Students will need to complete the Aviation Application and be accepted into the Private Pilot Certificate program in order to enroll in AVT 1002.
