Colorado Medication Aide (COMA)

The Colorado Medication Aide (COMA) Training Program is designed to equip individuals with the essential knowledge and skills required to become competent medication aides in healthcare settings in Colorado. This comprehensive course combines theoretical learning with practical hands-on training to ensure students are proficient in safely and effectively administering medications. 

This course is for individuals aspiring to become certified medication aides in Colorado who have already been working as Certified Nurse Aides. If you do not have previous experience working as a Certified Nurse Aide, you can enroll in the Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP) course.

Program Cost: $1599

*Before starting work at the clinical sites, students will need to prove standard immunizations, submit for a background check, and pass a drug screening.
