Professional Development for Preschool Educators

Aims Continuing Education and Early Childhood Education are teaming up to offer professional development opportunities for Early Childhood Educators, UPK educators and in-home childcare providers. 

All courses will assist in meeting Professional Development Requirements as outlined in the Code of Colorado Regulations 8 CCR 1404-1 Colorado Universal Preschool Program.

You’ll explore the differences between evaluation and screening tools while comparing various assessment instruments to determine their best applications. Delve into the ethical considerations that shape responsible assessment practices and engage in meaningful discussions about the social and emotional factors that impact the assessment process. By the end of the course, you’ll be equipped to identify potential developmental delays and implement effective interventions to support each child's growth and success.

Classes are available in the mornings, afternoons, evenings and Saturdays to fit your busy schedule.
