Recovery Professional Designation

Upon completion of the Aims Recovery Professional Program, you’ll receive certificates of completion for each course, issued by and stored within Protraxx (Professional Development Tracking System).

To receive your Recovery Coach Professional designation, follow these steps:

  • Apply online, pay the $150 fee and upload your certificates to the CCAR website
  • Within 48 business hours, CCAR will contact you to schedule a panel interview
  • Once you pass the 3-part panel interview, you’ll be awarded the CCAR Recovery Coach Professional designation, be listed on the CCAR website, and become part of the RCP CCAR network

You don’t have to wait for the designation to start finding work, but some businesses require it for companion/coaching jobs.

NOTE: Once you complete the Aims Recovery Professional Program, you will still need to earn 2 additional credits (two hours of additional training) before you can submit your application for designation. The remaining two credits can be attained at naadac.org through resources in the living library. The cost for these two hours of additional training is not included in the Aims program tuition.
