Located in northern Colorado, Berthoud High School is a part of Thompson School District. Concurrent enrollment offerings primarily include carpentry courses on site. Students also have access to the Thompson Career Center and Aims campuses for concurrent courses.
Students who successfully complete all classes offered in this program will earn a three-credit Basics of Carpentry Certificate through Aims. Classes provide students with a basic introduction to construction work for all crafts, an overview of safety procedures within the industry and a hands-on approach demonstrating the safe and proper use of hand and power tools. Students who enroll at Aims after high school graduation can apply credits to an associate of applied science in construction management.
