Two recent initiatives are removing barriers for those interested in earning Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) certifications at Aims Community College. A recently awarded federal grant is helping cover the cost of training, and a new language learning program is providing support to non-native English speakers to obtain their certifications.
Aims Community Theater (ACT) invites audiences to experience “Lysistrata,” a classic comedy by Aristophanes. The play will be performed from November 14-17 at the Ed Beaty Hall Theater. A post-show talkback session on November 15 and 17 provides deeper insights into the play’s themes and production choices.
