Student Commons

Representing the union of student life and activities on campus, the Student Commons provides a common meeting place for all student-focused activities. 

At the Student Commons, you can access the following services:

• Arty's Pantry - Order free food, personal care items and school supplies online for pickup in Room 127
• Bookstore - classroom supplies, graduation regalia, Aims branded attire and digital subscriptions to class materials
• Center for Diversity and Inclusion - a welcoming and inclusive environment for students to build community, access resources, and critically engage in social justice topics
• Counseling Services - no-cost mental health support services for Aims students
• Disability Access Services - accommodations and services to help you fully access your education
• Learning Commons - library services, quiet study spaces, class materials, tutoring services, and computer, tablet and WiFi hotspot rental
• Student Life Office - a hub for student leadership, clubs and activities
• Student Lounge Information Desk - get student IDs, find answers to questions, gather for conversation between classes, or play games like pool or foosball
• TRIO Student Support Services - support to empower low-income and first-generation students and students with disabilities to develop skills to achieve their academic and professional goals

Whether you want to grab a quick snack from vending machines or a coffee cart or a meal to fuel your studies, the Student Commons offers plenty of options for dining, studying and relaxation.

• Arty's Bistro - hot and cold breakfast options, a variety of lunch and snack menu items as well as hot and cold beverages.
• Arty's Coffee Bar - coffeehouse-style beverages, baked goods and other grab-and-go food items.
• The Student Lounge - Study, relaxation, recreation and student services at the information desk, including obtaining student IDs
• Vending Machines are located outside of Room 112.
