In addition to working with first responders to address security issues during emergencies, Aims Campus Safety and Security staff are available to help you resolve non-emergency situations, such as retrieving lost or stolen items, parking or traffic issues and more.

Find answers to frequently asked questions about non-emergency situations for Aims students, faculty and staff.

If any Aims campuses are closed due to weather, a popup will appear at the top of the Aims website with details about campus closures. 

You can also visit the Aims Emergency Alerts page for the latest security alerts, including closures due to weather.

For non-life-threatening medical situations, contact the Campus Safety and Security office on the campus where you are located.

If you received a parking citation, you will need to pay the fee at the Cashier’s Office. If you have a question about the citation please use the phone number in the sidebar to call Campus Security at the location where you received the parking violation. 

You can also email questions to parking@aims.edu.

A traffic incident on an Aims campus can include fender benders, hitting a parked vehicle or traffic collisions. We know it can be upsetting and frightening to be involved in a traffic incident, but it's best to follow the instructions below rather than leaving the scene. If in doubt, call or text Campus Safety and Security, we're here to help.

If you experience or witness a life-threatening emergency, call or text 911.

Otherwise, whether you or someone else is involved in a traffic incident on an Aims campus:

  1. Remain at the scene, and 
  2. Contact the nearest Campus Safety and Security Office for assistance:

The Aims Rave Guardian app is a free service offered to students, faculty and staff. 

You can use the Rave Guardian app to:

  • Call or text 911
  • Contact Campus Security
  • Report incidents and safety concerns
  • Request a virtual escort when you travel across campus alone

Please return any found items to the Campus Safety and Security office on the campus where the item was found.

The Aims Facilities and Operations Department is in charge of all groundskeeping and outdoor sprinkler systems on campus.

Title IX is a federal law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in educational institutions receiving federal funding. Aims Community College is committed to ensuring that every member of our community learns and works in an environment free of sex discrimination and sexual harassment. Sexual harassment (including sexual violence) is a kind of sex discrimination and is prohibited by Title IX and by Aims Community College.

A report can be filed with Title IX Coordinator/Compliance Manager Jill Beck at any time (including during non-business hours) via telephone, email, United States postal mail, in-person or via the online reporting form.

When making a report, please be sure to include the following information:

  • Your name and contact information
  • Responding party name and contact information (if available)
  • Type of incident
  • Description of incident
  • Any initial requests from the reporting party

For more information about Title IX and to confidentially report an incident of sexual misconduct, discrimination, harassment or interpersonal violence, click the link below. 

Students may be eligible to receive free, short-term, confidential counseling sessions with a licensed therapist through Aims Community College. 

For life-threatening emergencies, call or text 911.

If you need to report an alleged Student Code of Conduct violation, academic misconduct issue, or a safety or security incident, fill out a Campus Safety and Security incident report form. 

Contact Campus Security at the correct campus location immediately to report your missing key/badge and we can help you with the next steps to obtain a replacement.
