Businesses and organizations in Northern Colorado are invited to enlist any of these avenues for promoting their industry to the Aims student population and the greater community. Whether you are wondering how to hire an intern, want to set up a recruitment table, sponsor a student or scholarship, let students shadow your employees, or give a presentation about your industry, we can help connect you to the support you need.

A meeting that the jobseeker or student initiates with an individual who is working in a career of interest.
The interview is set to gather information on the field, occupation, or organization of interest and to expand the professional network of the jobseeker or student.
A temporary training program in a workplace, especially one offered to students or teachers as part of a course of study or work to observe respected professionals and their daily duties.
A planned and structured training experience that is used to develop an intern’s work or professional skills and build their network.
A paid or unpaid experience over a limited period of time. Jobseekers or students may or may not receive academic credit for the internship.

Build your brand recognition for your organization by connecting with students on campus. Employers can schedule recruiting tables on any of the four Aims campuses. Recruiting tables are available Tuesday through Thursday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. most weeks in the Fall & Spring semesters.
Host tours of your business. Partner with local school districts and colleges through sector partnerships or host a tour on your own to promote your business. Show off your employees and all the great work you do.

In Colorado, registered apprenticeships are registered with our local US Department of Labor Office of Apprenticeship. Apprenticeship is an industry-driven, high-quality career pathway where employers can develop and prepare their future workforce, and individuals can obtain paid work experience, classroom instruction, and a portable, nationally recognized credential.
Employers that develop a DOL Registered Apprenticeship program see benefits as: develop and grow a highly skilled, diverse workforce; retain company knowledge as experts near retirement; train current staff for more advanced positions in your company.
Privately funded financial support is available to reduce the cost of college attendance.
To ensure that programs are contemporary and aligned with industry standards, Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs meet regularly with industry specific professionals who provide advice on the curriculum, equipment and internships necessary to meet the specific needs of industry-relevant employers.
All Career and Technical Education programs in Colorado are required to consult with industry experts twice per year to make sure that the curriculum reflects current needs and methodologies.
