Aims hosted a drone demonstration at the Windsor Campus this summer. This event brought together industry professionals, Aims faculty and students in the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) program to see a VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) fixed-wing drone capable of flying beyond the visual line of sight.

Aims recently received a donation from Weld Community Credit Union to fund an on-campus food bank, Arty’s Pantry. The WCCU contributed $535.40 in cash and in-kind donations of food and supplies. Arty’s Pantry provides any enrolled Aims student with groceries, personal hygiene products and school supplies, no questions asked.
Aims Community College held a topping-out ceremony to celebrate the progress made on expanding its Windsor Campus on July 11. The event included speakers, a beam signing and hoisting onto the new academic building.
