A financial aid advisor meets with a student to discuss how to pay for tuition.

The Office of Financial Aid provides a variety of financial aid programs and services to help Aims Community College students understand and meet their educational costs.

Help Completing your FAFSA or CASFA

The Financial Aid department offers in-person FAFSA/CASFA help sessions each Wednesday from 3 - 4 p.m. in the Student Commons, Room 240 and on Friday from 3 - 4 p. m. in the Welcome Center Room 228. Be sure to bring your FSA ID (federal username and password) and income information for the correct financial aid year.

You must complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Colorado Application for State Financial Aid (CASFA) once a year before the fall semester. Be sure to create your FSA ID or username and password before your help session.

How Aims Helps Limit Student Debt

Aims is dedicated to limiting debt through the following:

  • Keeping tuition and fees at a reasonable rate
  • Awarding grant funds to eligible students based on funds available
  • Encouraging students to apply for scholarships and/or to work on campus
  • Educating students on borrowing and repaying student loans
